Spurs needed a late leveller from Pascal Chimbonda to grab a point after Vincenzo Montella had put Fulham ahead - but Jol insists a point was the least his side merited. "You have to be [happy] after being down one-nil, but overall I thought we played a bit better on the ball and tried to play football and they tired to out muscle us and that is what they did last year and it helped as we lost," Jol told Sky Sports. "The first half it was a real battle." Fulham were down to ten-men for much of the second half after Heidar Helguson was sent-off - but Jol insists that did not make life much easier. "In England it is difficult, if your playing with two-up like they do, with McBride and Helguson and one goes off there is little difference," he said. "You are still playing against two banks of four and my two centre-halves there is one spare, but there is no difference. It is easier to play long ball but that is not our style. "The goal they scored they were fortunate but that can happen, so that is why I told you I was happy to have scored the goal.
