新闻来源 - Sky Sports Jol targets cup run Tottenham boss Martin Jol believes UEFA Champions League qualification is already out of the question this season. Spurs are currently well within the mix for a European spot this term, but Jol feels their chances of a top-six finish will be harmed by their involvement in cup competitions. Jol's side are still in the Carling Cup, FA Cup and Uefa Cup and winning one of the cups is already seen as the most likely route back into Europe. "Last year we had a great chance of getting into the Champions League as we didn't have other competitions to focus on," Jol told the Sun. "But this time the top four of today will be the top four in May. "We were the best of the rest last year and it would be great to finish in that position again. "But it will be more difficult as we have so many cup competitions to focus on.
