The Ivory Coast international was dropped after his mistake against Liverpool led to Luis Garcia's winner. Zokora has had to settle for a place on the bench in the last two games but hopes Martin Jol will reinstate him in the starting line-up against Newcastle. He is particularly looking forward to the prospect of facing Magpies midfielders Scott Parker and Nicky Butt at the weekend. "Parker and Butt are very strong, very aggressive and that's an important duel in midfield," Zokora said. "Parker is captain and a very good player, he wins the ball, he's strong, a leader." Zokora is well aware of the threat posed by Kieron Dyer and Obafemi Martins, with both players scoring in the reverse fixture last month. "Dyer is very quick, always looking for the space and Martins is also quick. They are a threat."
