The midfielder has rejected a professional contract with Lens and looks likely to move to White Hart Lane in the New Year. Reports in France claim the details of the transfer will be concluded within the next fortnight to enable Taarabt to arrive in England in January. Taarabt revealed he has already visited Spurs and is looking forward to the prospect of linking up with Martin Jol's squad. "I've been to visit White Hart Lane and I can't wait to be playing there," Taarabt told La Voix du Nord. "I've had discussions with the coach Martin Jol and he is incredibly keen to sign me."
