Spurs have struggled away from White Hart Lane this term and they are yet to pick up maximum points on their travels this season. Jol questioned the character of his players after last Sunday's disappointing 3-1 defeat at Reading. Tottenham tackle Blackburn at Ewood Park on Sunday, live on Sky Sports 1, and Jol believes his players must be ready to handle the physical nature of games away from home. "We've got football players," Jol said. "We don't buy Vinnie Jones-style players, so if they all show they can be a tough, physical player then there is no problem. We showed that in our 10 games (unbeaten). "We are not far off but it's still annoying we can do well at home but not away. "If you are strong enough you will get the points away from home. "You have to take responsibility physically. "Our home record will be okay, so it's only about away games. "If you win seven away games you are in the top four or five. We can do that but we need to look at a few details. "It's not only about our mentality, it's about physical toughness as well. "If you have five big strong guys, it's not a problem. If you have two or three then other people have to take responsibility as well. "Manchester United had to battle and grind out a result, it's a similar situation. Blackburn are strong at home, they are physical, so we have to do the same. "I saw Ryan Giggs do a left-back job against Blackburn and he is the best left winger in the last 10 to 15 years.
