新闻来源 - 官网 LOOKING GOOD FOR LEDLEY Ledley King is confident of being fit to line up against Aston Villa when we resume our Premiership campaign at Villa Park on Saturday. The skipper, who missed out on England's trip to Croatia with a knee problem that flared up after he made his international return against Macedonia, underwent treatment on his return to Spurs Lodge and reported a big improvement. "The knee was a little bit sore after the game on Saturday and I sat out training on Monday," said the just 26-year-old. "On Tuesday we were flying to Croatia, but it was still swollen, so it was decided that it was best I came back and got treatment on it. "I had the fluid drained off the knee and since then it has felt a lot better," added Ledley, who considers the team will face a stern test against a rejuvenated Villa side. "Villa have got off to a great start and the manager is clearly doing a good job. He has not bought too many new players in so he has obviously worked his magic on the squad. "They haven't lost a game yet and got an excellent result at Chelsea. Villa look a hard team to beat so we will be in for a tough game." However, Ledley also believes our own seasonal fortunes are back on an upward curve after victory over Portsmouth last time out. "We are getting players back from injury now and, if that continues, you will see the extent of what we can achieve this season. The last result was a massive win and very important given the two-week break that followed it, it was a must-win game and now we have a couple of days to get ready for Villa.
