The fleet-footed winger increased his stock during the World Cup finals, with his efforts from the bench earning him high praise. Lennon forced his way into the England World Cup squad at the 11th hour, which came as a surprise as he admits he found it tough making the transition from Leeds to London. He is now settled at White Hart Lane and is ready to help Spurs challenge for honours in the new season. "We're in a great position to challenge for fourth," he told ITV Sport. "We were unlucky to miss out last season but hopefully next year will be our year. We'll be doing our best to bring Champions League football to the club next season." Lennon is enjoying working under Martin Jol and has no plans to move on from White Hart Lane. "It was tough when I first went there," he added. "I didn't really want to leave Leeds but the club couldn't afford to keep me. "I wouldn't say I struggled to adapt but I was pretty homesick. I missed life in Leeds. "I'm really happy now at Spurs.
