The former Fulham trainee has fallen out of favour at Spurs and is becoming increasingly frustrated by the lack of first-team opportunities in Martin Jol's side. The 26-year-old's situation has alerted new Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp to his availability, having failed to lure Davis to former club Southampton back in the summer. Redknapp would face competition to land the services of the midfielder, with former club Fulham and fellow Premiership sides Middlesbrough and Everton a lso reported suitors of Davis.
