The following is the transcript from General Manager Rich Cho’s conference call with the media after Lin’s signing. Cho opening statement: 开场白 We’re really excited to add Jeremy to our team. He gives us a different dimension to our point guard spot. He has experience in the league. He’s a good ball-handler. I think with our second unit that’s important because he can create shots for others. He’ll get these guys to play good defense. RealGM上讨论有说Biyombo是去年球员中打挡拆挡人最好的 林过去合作良好的Tyson Chandler, 奶油手Asik, 上一季湖人的Ed Davis 特色都是可以保护篮板和禁区防守 加上挡拆禁区接球 目前我不知道有谁有类似的特色(?) 因为Rich Cho提到Clifford带过Nash 以前Nash和快艇的CP3 在场上的防守位置似乎都不是去顶防外线持球者的球员 印象中反而是放在弱侧边两翼比较多 如果不要林去顶防的话 防守上的问题应该也会减少 我是觉得林的防守没那麽差 除非球队每个位置都是单防大师 防守应该还是要看整个团队怎麽运作 -- --
