But another source close to the process told ESPN.com on Thursday afternoon
that
Charlotte is highly motivated to acquire Beasley, which would
undoubtedly encourage Miami -- which has been struggling to find a team
willing to gamble on Beasley because of his off-court baggage -- to keep
pressing for the trade to be consummated.
