It was elegant cutting edge tennis from Justine with a nod to Steffi Graf in deft unyielding finish. Justine's next challenger will be Russian Elena Vesnina, who she played two weeks ago in the opening round at Roland Garros. Under grey skies, and slight wind Justine's immaculate tennis gave off a purity of light all it's own on the dew lawn of center court. Henmania with it's power, and flawless finesse was too much for Vera Dushevina, who won Junior Wimbledon in 2002 defeating Maria Sharapova. The 6-0 first set scoreline in 20 minutes left the audience with sympathy for Dushevina. The Russian improved her tennis game in the second set to the sigh of relief from the crowd, as Justine eased off the pressure with a few unforced error gift points. The polite center court crowd became animated when Dushevina requested for the novel Hawk-Eye line call challenge on a serve. The score levelled at 4-4, but a tranquil Justine simply played sharper grounstrokes to break then serve for the set. On the Belgian tennis queen's second ace, and match point Dushevina showed a cheeky side. The Russian requested for Hawk-Eye much to the amusement of the chair umpire, spectators and Justine as she was walking forward to the sporting gesture of the net handshake. The video replay showed the serve was in much to Justine's delight. Game, set, match 6-0 6-4.
