We are one group, outside it's dark and wolves are howling, but I have : a story to tell. 这段话好像是所有写长篇小说的人共感：洞穴、黑暗、阻碍、迷途、暗影、漆黑 看不见前面的路，但感觉到有路可前进，普罗米修斯的火把就在手上 吴尔芙跟爱特伍也都说过类似的话 说写长篇小说就像提着灯笼走进黑暗的房间，光线照出的只是原来就放在房间里的东西 或说写作有关黑暗，有关一种想要进入黑暗的慾望甚至是强迫感 幸运的话，就可以照亮那黑暗，从中带回一些什麽，然後安全回到那亮处 爱特伍曾以一名医学院学生对她形容人体内部的话来形容小说家的写作过程 我觉得也很适合用来形容我读村上小说的感觉：「里面黑漆漆的」，充满漂亮诡异的萤光 --
