Reliever Hong-Chih Kuo had an MRI on his ailing left elbow and all signs were
positive. There was no structural damage, but Torre still plans on proceeding
with caution.
"We're probably going to stay away from him this weekend," Torre said.
"There's nothing in the MRI that tels us that but if we throw him (Friday) do
we want to give him four days off? What we're trying to do is to get to the
point where we will try not to use him and hopefully by Tuesday we may crank
it up."
