One Dodgers pitcher that did not let the jet stream bother him was Hong-Chih
Kuo, who retired all four batters he faced, striking out two.
"It was pleasant to see Kuo do that kind of job under the circumstances -- 11
pitches and four outs," said manager Grady Little. "He's been under the
supervision of Dr. [Frank] Jobe his whole career. The kid is feeling good
right now."
Kuo jumped from Double-A to the Major Leagues last September, a highlight in
a star-crossed career that included an astounding professional debut (10
batters, seven strikeouts, one blown-out elbow). He's now healthy after two
Tommy John operations.
Little said it is possible Kuo could return to his original role of starting.
For now, he is a reliever.
