Having studied at the Conservatory in Biel and Zurich, Hans Koch began his musical career as a classical clarinetist, working from 1973 to 1980 at the Music College of Winterthur. In 1978, he met Martin Schütz, also at the Conservatory, and they formed a jazz trio at the beginning of the 1980s, finally settling with the drummer Marco Käppeli. Moving through the Horace Silver and John Coltrane repertoire, they were later influenced by Albert Ayler, Steve Lacy, Anthony Braxton and Evan Parker, gradually moving to compose their own pieces. Performances eventually led to a recording of the trio on ECM and then a second disc the following year (1988) on Sound Aspects. In 1985 he won the best soloist award at the Jazzfestival Lugano and in 1986 was awarded the "Kulturpreis from the city of Biel". http://www.hans-w-koch.net/ --- ● Thomas Peter (CH) 托马斯·彼得（Thomas Peter）出生於1971年，瑞士巴塞尔音乐学院（Hochschule für Musik in Basel）学习声音设计与即兴演奏，目前定居苏黎世，专精作曲、即兴演奏、电 子音乐、声音装置等领域。现场演出时，他擅长以实际触感操作物件及营造符合当下空间 氛围的方式，来表现电子与原音的声响，无意识的声音转换至另一个空间。近期与Olaf Nicolai的凤凰乐团（Ensemble Phoenix Basel）合作，其中包含装置及小型乐团。经常 以独奏身分或现代音乐诠释者至欧洲、亚洲、北美及南美巡回演出。 Thomas Peter (1971) is a musician and composer. His activities range from composing electro-acoustical music and theatre music, performing improvised music, creating sound installations to realizing and interpreting of live electronic. His main interests lie in the digital form of electronic music, in its adaption as an acoustical content in different spaces and in computer operated sound installations. Huber。德国埃森音乐院最高艺术家文凭并以该校最优异 成积毕业。同年获颁德国科隆巿政府作曲奖及奖学金。二ＯＯ一年获台湾国家文艺基金会 的作曲赞助。二ＯＯ四年获美国洛杉矶Villa Aurora艺术家奖学金。2006年获许常惠作曲 比赛民族乐器类第二名，2008年获教育部文艺创作奖教师组音乐作曲特优。同年获国艺会 补助，制作他的第一张个人原创作品集《音之旅》。其作品已在亚洲、美洲及欧洲的音乐 节多次发表演出：柏林国际音乐节MaerzMusik Berlin、芝加哥新音乐节Soundfield Festival Chicago、慕尼黑新音乐糸列musica viva Munchen、德国达姆斯塔新国际音乐 研讨会等。与他合作的知名团体包括台湾采风乐坊、德国摩登乐团Ensemble Modern Frankfurt、德国汉堡Resonanz弦乐团、维也纳音响论坊Klangforum Wien、芝加哥诺门讷 斯乐团Ensemble Noamnesia Chicago、芬兰Avanti!室内乐团、中国国家交响乐团、莫比 斯圆环创作公社等。 董昭民目前的创作，企图将东方的人文精神及艺术思想表现在他的 作品中。他的音乐创作涵盖了中西乐器的独奏、室内乐、交响乐、轻歌剧、戏剧音乐。董 昭民擅长古筝演奏与即兴。他於2004年与旅德古筝大师徐凤霞及旅奥作曲家王蓂合组古筝 「筝鸣」 三重奏，并加入电子乐器，极力拓展东方音乐语法及表达手法的新空间。 他多 次与画家及舞蹈家合作创作舞蹈音乐及多媒体表演艺术，融入即时电声创作，发展他艺术 表达的多样性。德国法兰克福日报：董昭民在「睡佛百姿」里，以乐器的声响探索为基础 ，塑造了一种暗示性的音乐语法。前所未闻的声响循序渐进，充满了无限联想-宗教般的 情怀，且趣意盎然。(Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, 03.12.2002) 董昭民於 2006-2007担任台湾采风乐坊驻团作曲家, 并於2007年开始任教於新竹交通大学音乐研究 所。2008年与交大应用研究所和建筑研究所共创「交大多媒体艺术团队」，参加多次国内 外跨领域展演和文艺交流，成果丰硕。 Chao-Ming Tung is a Taiwanese-born composer and gu-zheng player (Chinese zither). His music encompasses stage, instrumental, vocal, and electro-acoustic works, and multimedia-performances with visual arts and dance. Since 2000 he has gradually incorporated Chinese instruments into his music, and improvises with gu-zheng and live electronics in concerts. In 1988 he began composition studies with Chien Nan-Chang in the Chinese-Culture-University Taipei. He continued his training from 1990 -1997 at the Musikhochschule Köln Germany with Johannes Fritsch and Mauricio Kagel, and later at the Folkwang-Hochschule Essen with Nicolaus A. Huber, where he graduated with distinction. Since 1999 he has worked as a freelance composer and musician, and facilitates East-West cultural exchanges. Tung's work has been presented in concerts of numerous festivals throughout Europe, Asia, and the USA. He has collaborated with choreographers, dancers, painters, musicians, ensembles, sound-, media- and video artists, e.g. Annegret Heiln, René Pieters, Bernhard Gal, Klang Forum Wien, Ensemble Ictus, Ensemble Modern, ensemble 2e2m, Ensemble On-Line Vienna , ensemble DEDALO, and China Found Music Workshop Taipei. He was awarded the Bernd Alois Zimmermann Scholarship for Composers from the City of Cologne in 1999, the Scholarship of National Culture and Arts Foundation Taiwan in 2001 and the Scholarship of Villa Aurora Los Angles, second award of international Xu Chang Hui composition competition Taiwan.
