莱特遭枪杀辞世 NBA各方表哀悼

失踪多日之後，曼菲斯当地警局发现了前NBA球员莱特(Lorenzen Wright)
的遗体，他的意外辞世让整个地区乃至於整个NBA都感到悲伤。
作为曼菲斯当地最杰出的球员之一，莱特在这里度过了五个赛季。

灰熊老板海斯利(Michael Heisley)得知莱特去世的消息之後表示：
"Lorenzen never backed down from any challenge given him, whether it was
guarding (Shaquille O'Neal) or anyone else,"
"He was a team player, a great locker room guy. There was never an instance
that I talked to him when he wasn't positive.
「莱特不管碰到任何挑战从未退却，他是一个善於团队合作的球员，
一个优秀的更衣室球员，每一次当我和他交谈时，他都是那麽乐观、优秀。」
"I am heartbroken. I'm sure there are a lot of people in Memphis who are
very, very sad. He was a good man who had his share of tough times, and I've
got to believe he's in a better place."
「我感到无比悲伤，我可以肯定的是曼菲斯有很多人也非常非常悲伤，
他是一个好人，我相信他现在已经到了一个更美好的地方。」

金块球员安东尼(Carmelo Anthony)：

35岁的莱特是快艇队在96年首轮第七顺位选中的球员，此後他先後辗转过老鹰、
灰熊、国王、骑士等队，职业生涯共出场779场比赛，场均有7.9分6.3篮板。
