这麽好的新人 一定要留的 Grizzlies Exercise Fourth-Year Option on Dahntay Jones Memphis, Tennessee, October 28, 2005 — Memphis Grizzlies President of Basketball Operations Jerry West announced today the team has exercised the fourth-year option on the contract of guard Dahntay Jones. Jones’ extension keeps him under contract through the 2006-07 season. Selected 20th overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics, Jones was acquired by the Grizzlies (along with Troy Bell), in exchange for the draft rights to Marcus Banks and Kendrick Perkins. Jones has averaged 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in 72 games during his first two seasons. Last season, he produced his best year, averaging 4.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.7 percent from the field.
