With eight games remaining, they are two games in the win column and 3 games in the loss column ahead of Minnesota. The Griz have home games this weekend against a Shaq-less Miami and Charlotte before embarking on a brutal road trip with games at Dallas, Houston, Denver and San Antonio. 接下来的赛程还 OK 只是之後的客场比较艰难 - The Grizzlies' 30 point win at Toronto was their largest margin of victory in a road game in frachise history. 对暴龙赢30分 是球队客场赢球比分差距最大的 恭喜 ^^ - The Griz recently looked good against the Lakers and the Raptors while looking pretty good for three quarters against Denver. The problem is that you can't get a good feel for just how well they are playing when they pound two teams with terrible inside play (LA and Toronto). On the other hand, they played both Seattle and Denver close and these are two of the better teams in the Western Conference. 球队对上 Lakers/Raptors表现还不错 对金块也打了三节好球 但是问题在於 Lakers/Raptors的内线不太好阿 - Pau Gasol seems to be rounding into form after his injury. Gasol has averaged 20 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks per game over the past five games and he has started to regain his stamina. Gasol still has struggled on defense and has not been aggressive enough on the boards. But if he continues to improve over the next few weeks, the Grizzlies should benefit from his solid play as the playoffs begin. Gasol目前防守仍须努力 篮板方面也不够积极 但是只要他在接下来的几周持续进步 灰熊在季後赛开打之时 应可以从他的表现中得利 - When watching the Griz as they approach full strength, you've gotta sympathize with Mike Fratello as he tries to work out a substitution pattern. No matter who he plays down the stretch, if the Grizzlies lose, he takes the heat. Thanks to continuing injuries to James Posey and Stromile Swift, Fratello is able to get a core group of eight guys substantial minutes (while a player like Dahntay Jones can get spot time). Yet if Posey and Swift return, it will just get more difficult for Fratello to allocate time for all of these players. 这一段比较吊诡 总之呢 如果伤兵都归队後 在时间分配上 教练就得多伤脑筋了 - Another increasingly obvious problem is that without Swift, the Griz really lack size off the bench. While Wright and Gasol are large enough to play in the paint, Cardinal and Shane Battier really are not big enough to be reliable post players and can be taken advantage of fairly easily. This is most obvious in games against teams with good post play - Chicago, Seattle, Denver and (coming up) Dallas (with Erick Dampier) and Houston. 另一个比较明显的问题是 没有了 Swift 灰熊在板凳的 size上就比较缺乏啦 虽然 Wright以及 Gasol在禁区都够力 但是 Cardinal/Battier就不是可以依赖的低位球员 而且很容易就被吃 XD 这在对上有好的低位球员的球队时是最显而易见的问题 - A big mystery has been why the Grizzlies suddenly can't seem to hit from the outside. Mike Miller has shot under 30% from the three point line over the past five games; Jason Williams is 1-16 on threes over the past six games; Bonzi Wells and Shane Battier both are not reliably hitting from the outside (though both are finding other ways to score); Brian Cardinal is struggling from everywhere on the floor. Things would seem alot easier if they just could get some outside shooting. 灰熊最近的外线实在是.... - It sounds like Stromile Swift should be ready to return during the team's southwest trip.
