Assume that
the instruction cache miss rate is 4%
the data cache miss rate is 5%.
a proccessor has a CPI of 2.0 without any memory stalls
the miss penalty is 200 cycles for all misses,
determine how much faster a processor would run
with a perfect cache that never missed?
Here,the frequency of loads and stores is 35%.
这种题目我常看到的
不是问有miss状态下 平均CPI多少
然後跟完全没miss的比 快几倍
不过这题居然问的是 perfect and never miss
而且题给的CPI也是without any memory stalls
请问高手这种题要怎麽解@@

我问我同学 他也觉得怪怪的
2+4%*200+5%*200*35%= 有miss的
那没miss的? 直接答案是2吗 @@?
