1. Please explain why in an E.coli cell the number of tRNA
is about the same as the EF-Tu(104-105)?
why the number of EF-Ts (and EF-G) is about the
same as the ribosome(104)?
furthermore,why the lac repressor is about only 10 copies?
2.A human cytokine gene"X" has a size of 20 kbp in genomic
DNA.This gene contains 23 exons and 22 introns,
10 AGA (Arg) codons,a nuclear localization signal
sequence,and 6 Cys.What do you need to consider if
you are cloning and expressingthe gene in E.coli
to obtain 1 mg of monomeric and active protein.
3.Please design experiments to analyze and
distinguish 3 activities possessed in reverse transcriptase?
4.Please describe the methods for purification
of miRNA from the cells and how to demonstrate
these so purified miRNA have no other RNA contamination.
