标题[字汇] 分享 9/20 考试出现45个字汇 (V163 AWA 5.5)

各位同学大家好，我是王梓沅老师，是方有毅老师退休前，生涯中聘请过少数老师中
最年轻的老师。在这边分享今天 (9/20) 我本人去GRE考试出现的字汇。
其实GRE字汇只要真正出国念过书，就会知道很多是在英美国念书或是学术文章里
真的都会用到的字，因此我鼓励大家用对的方法踏实的心态，将它们记起来。
碰熟了真的就会发现，GRE的单字不但「有范围」并且没有那麽恐怖了。
fecklessness (inefficient and irresponsble --> （糟到不行的员工了）
obsequious -- sycophantic
dissolve (GRE考抽象意思：组织瓦解)
subordinate to
bumbling
pejorative
unwarranted
inscrutable
enigmatic
aloof
uncharacteristic
impassioned (别跟 impassive, dispassionate 搞混)
spellbound
to glean ~ from (常跟汲取information有关系)
buoy (v.)
alacrity (promptness in response --有关有效率、快 GRE也爱考 celerity和dispatch)
taciturn
trite (别跟 contrite, contrived 搞混)
condescending
callow
naive
infelicities
sophisticated

insouciance (好朋友是 indiffernece, nonchalance)
indolent (出现两次，用"印度人"来记, 不要跟 insolent, insolvent 搞混)

hubris (另外也很爱考 imperious 和 overweening)
self-absorption (cf. self-effacing, self-aggrandizing, self-important)
prescience (cf. clairvoyance)
conscientious
circumscribe (别跟 circumspect, circumstantial, circumlocutory 搞混)

polemic (是考点: 和cynicism 的意思要区分好)

take sth at one's face value (母语人士常用，但台湾学生不太会的片语）
perfection (往年也喜欢考不犯错的 "unerring" 和 "impeccable")
