(A) double the number of those (B) double those (C) two times the number of those (D) twice those (E) twice as many as those 思考流程： 一、按照题目内容，决定本题乃「两年人数」的比较。因为原文称「有七百人提 高生产力」，但并没有任何生产力的数字，而每个人的生产力也不会一样， 所以无法做生产力大小的比较。 二、要比较「人数」，那麽答案部分就应该出现 the number of, 否则会变成 700 跟 those farmers 做比较，而产生歧异。因此答案剩下(A), (C)。 三、double 当形容词用，後接名词，字典例句如下： He earns double my salary. 他赚的薪水是我的两倍 The price is double what it was last year.该价钱是去年的两倍 四、～ times 可以表示「～倍」但文法书上说，两倍要用 twice，三倍以上才 用「数字」＋times，故淘汰 (C)。 五、选 (A)。 最後，若这题真是实战考题，那麽出题者的某个文法点要加油了：阿拉伯数字因 为无法「大写」，所以句子的开头按照文法规定是不能够用阿拉伯数字的，应该 改成 Seven hundred farmers 才对。 由於这题没有 OA，因此以上纯供参考，欢迎指正。 --
