标题[问题] 一题PREP的数学问题

这一题我有点不懂
In the x y-plane, what is the y-intercept of the line L
(1) The slop of line L is 3 times its y-intercept.
(2) The x-intercept of line L is -1/3
这一题我不懂的是 选项 2
the x intercept of line L 不是就代表着在 y=ax+b 的式子里面 y = 0 x = -1/3
然後如果你把 式子 y 代 0 去算 ,
0 = ax+b
=> ax=-b
=> x= -b/a =-1/3 这样不是就可以求出了吗 答案是E是因为我们不知b 是负的
还是 a 是负的吗??
