",making it...,"这句逗号相隔的句子是补充,要找其修饰的对象, 发现歧意,修饰S=immigrants 2. that的用法:排除关系代名词,因为"a United States citizan hold gold..."是 完整的句子;因为that不是带出主词或受词关系子句 那会是连接词吗??that的代名词用法参考google字典解释: 如果that这里是作为连接词,则解释了为何接了一完整句子 名词子句的用法,可以参考此网址解释: http://www.ycjh.hlc.edu.tw/~t311/moe/engb5/b5grammar/b5thatclause.htm 所以当连接词错误;而且发现应该要解释说明imprisonment, 所以此句跟imprisonment应该有强烈的紧密关系 选项B: 1. making it紧密跟着a law,没有歧意 2. for+人(agent,动词的施行者)+to V:不只紧跟着imprisonment,直接修饰; to V不定词片语(for+施行者说明其S)指代说明it --
