请问各位对这篇文章某个段落的理解 17行的地方 When an ice age begins, the continental ice sheets grow,steadily reducing the amount of water evaporated from the ocean that will eventually return to it. Because heaiver isotopes tend to be left behind when water evaporates from the ocean surfaces, the remaining ocean water becomes progressively enriched in oxygen 18. 我的理解是:当ice age开始,海洋表面蒸发的总水量减少 而当海水表的的水分蒸发时,较重的O18则会被留下 使得海水的O18含量上升 依照以上的说法 ice age应该会因为蒸发较其它时期减少 所以O18含量会比其它时期低 但是文章後面段落又写说 The higher oxygen18 to oxygen16 in a sedimentary specimen, the more land ice there was when the sediment was laid down. 跟上述的理解就互相矛盾了 不晓得是我自己本身的理解有问题 还是哪边看错了 还谢谢高手帮我指点一下 ~~ --
