没有连接词,感觉应该是同位语,但往前与distances同位,不对

这个应该是分词代替连接词,句意合理,声音可以穿过水中很远的地方,
并且可以防止声音强度被不同海水层温度密度不同造成的boundary所分散
我是这麽觉得啦!!
