Jerzy Grotowski 你我相遇是种缘分，不可强求？。 「第二方法」，简单地回答，就是「不用大脑创作」，「不用观念编舞」， 「不预想创作结果」，「让形式降临你」，「不为观众创作，不为自我创 作，而是奉献出自己」…… Grotowski终身所作所为，根本上都是精神性的。人们说他「离开了 剧场」，事实上是他从未「在剧场里」。就是在他早期的演出作品里 ，剧场只不过是他的途径，而非目标。（Schechner 1997:462） 让我抚触你，感觉你的抚触，让我注视你，同时完整地接受你的注视 ，没有恐惧，没有羞惭。我不躲藏，我就是我。让我们至手这麽做 个几分钟、十分钟、二十分钟或一个钟头。让我们到那个地方，在 那里，你我将融为一体。事实是，这个需要（指你我相遇或融为一体 ）仍不完全清楚。它正在降生之中，正在浮现。它仍然未开花结果 ，无识无形。因而，事实上也不应具现为固定的形式。但是，它即 将来临，已经近了，而我想，我如此感觉-它将摧毁我们习称的剧场 。不是剧场，而是相遇。（Grotowski 1973:133-144） 我们活在语言之中，但也不只是在语言中活着。（Croyden 1997:83） 人必以其纯全存有（whole being）来倾述原初词「我-你」。欲使人 以汇融（concentration）於此存在，绝不依靠我但又绝不脱离我。我 实现「我」因相系着「你」；在实现「我」的过程中我讲出了「你」。 凡真实的人生皆是相遇。（Martin Buber, 1996:10） 经验世界屈从於原初词『我-它』。『我-你』则创造出关系世界 。（Martin Buber, 1996:5） 一九六七年Grotowski接受Schechner访问後，Schechner所记： 一、 忠实於你真实的感受，不要隐藏或逃避。 二、 冒险，真正进入未知之境。 三、 用心去做，不要想到你将完成的东西。 四、 付出自己：如果你表演，不是为观众，也不可能为自己，而 是要百分之百奉献自己。(Schechner and Hoffman 1997:36-39) Peter Book对於想要向Grotowski学习的人提出以下警告： 有个条件：你必须有天分(Brook 1997:381) Grotowski, whose simplest description of his aim is 'to cross the frontiers between you and me… To find a place where a communion becomes possible.' "our daily platitudes are themselves arguments against God" (Eugenio Barba, in Towards a Poor theatre, p. 84) "In the first place, we are trying to avoid eclecticism, trying to resist thinking of theatre as a composite of disciplines. We are seeking to define what is distinctively theatre, what separates this activity from other categories of performance and spectacle. Secondly, our productions are detailed investigation of the actor- audience relationship. That is, we consider the personal and scenic technique of the actor as the core of theatre art." (Jerzy Grotowski, Towards a Poor theatre, p. 15) The essential concern is finding the proper spectator-actor relationship for each type of performance and embodying the decision in physical arrangements.
