中级英检作文题目出现以下考题:

许多人都有自己崇拜的偶像。请问你的偶像是谁? 如果有机会的话，你是否想成为青少年的偶像?
本篇作文的布局可分为两段，第一段说明自己的偶像，文中要提到身份，特质以及对於自己的影响。第二段表明自己是否想成为偶像的立场，并说明原因。
除了艺人以外，许多术业有专攻的人，像是运动员或政治家，都是我们自小崇拜的对象。就身份来说，同学们可以从以下相关人选来考虑：

Everyone has his idol, and I am no exception. Unlike many others who may
adore(v.景仰) an actor or singer, I regard Jamie Oliver, a famous British
chef(点出身份), as my idol.

当然，如果同学一时想不到崇拜的名人，也可以写周遭的人物，例如自己的父母, 师长, 朋友等值得让你学习的对象。
接下来，我们可以用事件来描述偶像的特质, 例如:
- 写热心助人的特质:
He devotes all his life to helping the underprivileged(a.弱势的) families.
*devote + 时间 + to + N/Ving 投入…在….
写坚毅的特质:
She is persistent(a.坚持的) in pursuing(追求) the goal of perfection.
写歌声的感染力:
Her songs touch and inspire (v.启发) every generation.
最後可以写到偶像对於个人在价值观，工作或学习方面等的影响。

第二段要先表明自己的立场。
