Corey Maggette’s 10th Annual “FLIGHT 50 Basketball Camp” wrapped up
earlier today at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, Ill. A 1998 graduate of
Fenwick, the 10-year NBA veteran returned to the site where he honed his
basketball skills before attending Duke University and eventually beginning
his successful NBA career.
由Corey Maggette所举办的第10届“FLIGHT 50 Basketball Camp”今早在美国伊利诺州的
Fenwick高中举行。
1998年毕业於Fenwick，且已有10年NBA经验的Maggette就是在这里磨练他的球技，并进入
篮球名校Duke University，并成功开启他的NBA的生涯。
Through his charitable foundation, the Flight 50 Foundation, Maggette made it
possible for 250 students to attend the five-day camp free of charge.
透过他的公益基金会，the Flight 50 Foundation，Maggette免费让250位学生参加这次
为期5天的篮球营。(一次让250位学生免费，Maggette真是佛心~)
“I feel very fortunate to be in a position where I can give back to the
community that gave me so much while I was growing up,” Maggette said
earlier this week. “I’m also very happy that FLIGHT 50 is returning to
Fenwick High School for a second-straight year.”
Maggette说："我觉得我很幸运能在这里回馈曾经帮助我成长的社区"，"我同时也很开心
FLIGHT 50 连续两年回到Fenwick高中"。
The FLIGHT 50 camp was geared toward boys and girls, ages 10 to 16, and
focused not only on the fundamental skills of basketball, but also about the
importance of health and conditioning. Each session was devoted to individual
skill development through demonstration and participation, focusing on both
offensive and defensive techniques.
The FLIGHT 50 篮球营适合10~16岁的男孩女孩，不仅教导基本的篮球技巧，同时更着重
於健康的训练。每期学童透过参加表现以增进个人技巧，同时也专注在攻守兼并的技术。
(抱歉这段後面不太会翻，不过大意上应该是这个篮球营教导的东西蛮实惠的)
While Maggette worked with hundreds of kids on their game this week, he is
beginning to work on his own as well. The Warriors forward underwent surgery
on his right wrist in late June, but is now back on his training regimen and
looking forward to a healthy start to training camp in September.
当Maggette正与一群小孩玩在一起的同时，他也开始进行训练。在6月底这位勇士的前锋
还在进行手术，但现在他已经恢复健康并准备参加9月的训练营。
