The Australian dollar has declined noticeably against a rising US dollar
over recent months, though less so against a basket of currencies. It
remains above most estimates of its fundamental value, particularly given
the significant declines in key commodity prices. A lower exchange rate is
likely to be needed to achieve balanced growth in the economy.
在过去数月里，澳币兑美元已明显贬值，然而兑各式货币的跌幅相对较小。
有鉴於主要商品价格大幅降低，澳币目前的实际价值仍然高於多数人的估计。
要在经济上使各项均衡成长，可能还得仰赖更低的汇率来达成。
