Saturday, October 7, 2006 Konnichiwa, 大家好 Earlier on this week, I told you guys how beautiful the trees were around the lake in the Imperial Palace where I played tennis with the Crown Prince of Japan. Yesterday evening after my match, I went and had a quick look around the shops and came across a nice bonsai tree. The bonsai has always been one of my favourites, so I thought I would take picture for you guys to see. It is just amazing how meticulous and harmonious the Japanese are in everything they do. 在这个礼拜初，我有跟你们说，宫殿里面湖泊旁的树有多美，就是我跟日本王子打网球的 地方，昨天傍晚我的比赛结束後，我去了一家商店很快的看了一下，发现了一个很棒的盆 栽树，那种盆栽树是我最喜欢的一种，所以我想说照一张照片给你们看。(请上ATP看)我 很惊讶在日本什麽事情都是很和谐、很精细的。 After yesterday's typhoon, we were greeted with beautiful weather today, so I practiced outside before my match which helped my preparation. We played with an open roof and once again the stadium was packed. The fans have been really great here all week. 经过昨天的台风，今天有好天气问候我们，所以今天我在室外练球，可以帮助我比赛前的 准备。我们今天在屋顶打开的球场打球，而且人群又再一次的挤满球场，球迷们这个礼拜 还真的都很捧场。 I was very happy with the way my semifinal match went and I am really excited to be playing in my first final in Japan tomorrow. I arrived here five days before my first match and was really hoping for a good result, now I am only one win away from claiming my first title in Japan in what I am sure will be a tough match. 我很高兴准决赛的内容跟我的预想一样，而且我很兴奋打明天我的第一场在日本的决赛。 我在第一场比赛前五天就到日本了，很希望能有一个好结局。现在我只需要最後一个胜利 就能宣告我在日本夺得第一个冠军，但我很确定这一定是个困难的比赛。 I think the trip has been really worthwhile as I am getting to see and know many people and places but before recapping what has been happening here this week, I would like to let you know about my plans for the rest of the season. 我觉得这次的旅程很值得，因为我看到了也知道了很多这边的人跟地方，在我重述这个礼 拜发生过的事情之前，我想让你们知道我要如何安排剩余的球季。 I am going to play the ATP Masters Series event in Madrid, then Basel, my hometown event, and then the ATP Masters Series Paris tournament, before going to Shanghai to play in the Tennis Masters Cup. Everything is going according to the schedule and I really hope that the indoor season will bring me as much success as at the beginning of my year. Unfortunately I was injured the last two years and had to miss those events so I am very motivated to play there again. 我将会去打马德里ATP大师盃，然後我家乡的赛事Basel，再来是巴黎站，最後我要去上海 打大师盃。每一件事都按照着我的行事历，我真的很希望在这个室内赛季，能打的很成功 ，像是年初。很不幸运的，我去年跟前年都受伤，必须错失掉这些比赛，所以我现在很想 要再去打这些比赛。 After the Tennis Masters Cup it is the off season for the players, except for those in the Davis Cup final. While the final is on, I will be off for my annual vacation which I am really looking forward to because the season has been long and tough and I definitely need a break at the end of the year to rest and relax. 大师盃之後，每个选手都结束他们的球季了，除了那些戴维斯盃决赛的选手。等到这些决 赛结束了，我要去每年一度的度假，是我很期待的，因为打完整个球季，很长也很艰苦， 在年底我真的需要一点休息跟放松。 Before I left for the match yesterday, I was in the room on the computer and I was surfing the internet for nice vacation spots. I was wondering where to go. As you fans are from a lot of different cities and countries around the world, I am sure you might have a personal experience or some more advice for me as to where I could spend a relaxing time with Mirka. Although this season has been great, I must admit, that come November, I will be in need for a serious break. 昨天我打完比赛後，在房间上网找好的度假地点，我想知道哪里可以去。你们球迷都来自 各个不同的国家和城市，我想你们应该能给我些个人的经验或者是其他的建议，哪里是我 跟Mikra可以花时间去放松的地方。虽然这个球季很不错，我必须承认，十一月到了，我 需要一个好好的休息。 After my vacation I will be getting ready for next season by working on my fitness and playing tennis with Tony Roche for about two weeks.
