首先根据英文wikipedia

Almond 为 Prunus属 Amygdalus亚属 Prunus dulcis种
Apricot为 Prunus属 Armeniaca亚属 Prunus armeniaca种
然後再查 Prunus条目得知其中文翻译为李属

在此条目下有列出李属的各种植物
其中 Prunus dulcis (Almond) 被翻成 扁桃 巴旦杏 美国大杏仁
而 Prunus armeniaca (Apricot) 被翻成 杏 （连结导至山杏）
那哪个才是杏仁呢？

所以杏仁也分很多种

我决定将Almond翻成扁桃，以甜杏作注
将Apricot翻成山杏，以苦杏作注
