Euro-Injured Portugal keeper Quim out of finals GENEVA, June 7 (Reuters) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Portugal goalkeeper Quim is out of Euro 2008 with a broken wrist. "He will stay with the team until around the 15th of June but he cannot play. He will be replaced (in the squad) by Nuno Espirito Santo of Porto at around 1pm on Sunday," UEFA spokesman Jorge Baptista told reporters. Quim had been vying with Ricardo as first choice for Portugal's Group A opener against Turkey in Geneva later on Saturday. The 32-year-old Quim was Ricardo's understudy at Euro 2004 and the 2006 World Cup. Quim complained of pain in his right hand after training on Friday and underwent a scan in a local hospital. "In the last attack of Friday's practice Quim damaged his hand punching the ball and suffered a fracture," said team doctor Henrique Jones, adding the keeper would be sidelined for four to six weeks. His 34-year-old replacement, usually known simply as Nuno, is Brazilian Helton's reserve at Porto and is uncapped.
