http://www.uefa.com/footballcentral/news/Kind=2/newsId=301943.html Porto pair move to Moscow Thursday, 12 May 2005 FC Porto pair Costinha and Maniche will join Russian Premier League side FC Dinamo Moskva this summer in a transfer worth a combined fee of €20m, the 2003/04 UEFA Champions League winners have confirmed. Summer moves The two players will formally move to Russia on 1 July, with Maniche costing Dynamo Moskva €16m while fellow midfield player Costinha moves in a €4m deal. Porto have therefore made a sizeable profit on both players, who each joined on a free transfer. Trophy-laden careers Costinha moved to Porto before the 2001/2002 season after a four-year spell in France with AS Monaco FC. In the subsequent four years he has helped the club to victory in last season's Champions League to add to the UEFA Cup Porto won in the previous campaign, and has also enjoyed domestic success, claiming two Portuguese SuperLiga titles and one Portuguese Cup. Maniche left SL Benfica for Porto in summer 2002 and was also part of the Porto side that claimed those five trophies. Portuguese contingent In addition, both Costinha and Maniche were ever-presents as Portugal reached the final of UEFA EURO 2004™ on home soil, and are both experienced interna- tionals.
