Hoover unavailable for Reds on Wednesday
Reds skipper Bryan Price said JJ Hoover is unavailable on Wednesday against
the Rockies.
And he said he's still deciding whether to remove Hoover from the club's
ninth-inning role. Hoover let up two runs in 2/3 of an inning on Tuesday
night and he's sporting a brutal 15.19 ERA in 5 1/3 total innings to open the
2016 season. Tony Cingrani or Caleb Cotham could be next in line for save
opportunities in Cincinnati. In fantasy leagues with deep rosters, they're
probably both worth a stash.
