标题[伤兵] Jhonny Peralta

Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak announced Monday that Jhonny Peralta
could be out 2-3 months with a possible ligament tear in his left thumb.
Advice: Peralta is flying back to St. Louis from Jupiter, Florida to have the
thumb examined by team doctors. It's a brutal turn of events for the
Cardinals, who don't have a ready-made backup option at the shortstop
position. Jedd Gyorko did draw 28 starts there last year in San Diego, but he
is much better suited for a second-base platoon with Kolten Wong. Maybe the
Cardinals will give Cuban shortstop Aledmys Diaz a long look. Either way,
it's going to be nearly impossible to match Peralta's offensive and defensive
production.
