Crisp to undergo elbow surgery, out
6-8 weeks
The procedure will require 6-8 weeks of rest and rehab. Crisp has been
bothered by right elbow discomfort for much of spring training and was
already ticketed for a season-opening disabled list stint. Now that stay on
the DL will extend into the middle of May.
Craig Gentry figures to get the
majority of the starts in left field for the A's in the early going. This
could also boost Billy Burns' fantasy profile as a base-stealing threat.
