Dodgers placed LHP Clayton Kershaw on the 15-day disabled list with upper back inflammation. Kershaw was scratched from his scheduled start Sunday due to some back tightness, and he felt some renewed discomfort while playing catch Saturday. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly has said he and the team plan to exercise caution with their ace.
