Contreras could see a
save opportunity or two while manager Charlie Manuel
eases
Brad Lidge back into the closers role, the Phillies' official site
reports.
Recommendation: Contreras has a 12:0 K:BB ratio in 6.2 innings thus far this
season.
If Lidge struggles in the coming weeks, Contreras could find himself
earning more than a few save chances since Ryan Madson, the usual stand-in
for Lidge, is on the disabled list.
