Harang has appendectomy, done for season
Reds placed RHP Aaron Harang on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to
August 22, following an emergency appendectomy.
Harang isn't expected to return to the Reds this year. It'll end as a
dissapointing season for the big right-hander, who finishes up with a 4.21
ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 6-14 record. He'll aim to be at full strength by spring
training 2010.
