有错请见谅 ※ 引述《isaac028 (da)》之铭言： : 不好意思,小弟才疏学浅，想请教各位大大几题英文文法试题(出处:王怡华-文法练习1000 : 题) : 1.Most of his rich acquaintances ignored him,------is the way of their world. : (A)so (B)as (C)what : 答案:(B),看文法书仅知道句子有such与as, 选项才选as,但本题皆无... 不一定只有such才会搭配as 例如as当连接词时，有"当" "像" "因为"等意思的用法 这题考的应该是准关代 简单来说就是一般的which和who的用法再融入as 原本空格处应该放which代表前面整件事情(如果选项有which是可以选的) 但这里的关代加上了"就像"的意思 所以用as会更好 其他的准关代还有than也算是常见 : 2.The audience were utterly astonished at the fluency------the little girl : made her first English speech. : (A)with which (B)by which (C)of which (D)in what : 答案:(A),该题不明白为何选(A)!! 还原成两句分别看 (1)The audience were utterly astonished at the fluency. (2)The little girl made her first English speech with fluency. 然後用关代代替重复fluency合并起来的时候，with提前 所以就出现了with which了 另外这里的with可以翻成"用"或"以" with fluency算是惯用搭配 只要看出这点，要选对不难 : 3.The sick man------sake you are doing all this work ought to be very : grateful to you. : (A)for whom (B)for whose (C)of whom (D)of whose : 答案:(B),为何不可选(A)? 首先for one's sake的片语的意思是为了什麽人 接着一样还原成两句 (1)The sick man ought to be very grateful to you. (2)You are doing all this work for the sick man's sake. 这里的关代要用whose因为重复的地方有"所有格"喔 然後再把for whose sake一起往前移 选项A没有所有格所以错了 : 4.All history confirms the doctrine that-----rely upon the sword shall perish : by it. : (A)those who (B)if we (C)however we : 答案:(A),该题不明白为何选(A)!! 偷懒的解题法~ 本题的that子句中如果你选了B或C选项都会让这个子句多了一个连接词，却没连接另一句 也就是if和however(这里=no matter how)的连接词功能错了 选A的those who就是people who阿~所以who rely upon the sword是that子句中的 关代子句，是合理的 : 5.She has been suffering from a kind of disease------. : (A)the cure for which is now possible : (B)whose cure is unable (C)whose cure is a recent recovery : 答案:(A),为何不可选(B)=>疾病的治疗? 基本上疾病是事物不是人，所以关代还是用which会比whose好 另外你选B的话，我会觉得unavailable比unable好 而文法上一样还原成两句看 (1)She has been suffering from a kind of disease. (2)The cure for the disease is now possible. 重复的地方是disease但换成关代which後，连同前面介系词for一起往前移 出现的关代子句就是答案罗 the cure for the disease中的for後面加用途或对象 这也算是要尽量背起来的介系词用法 可以帮助判断 : 6.The teacher-----is at the desk over there. : (A)you should talk to (B)you are talk to (C)whom you talking to : 答案:(A),为何不可选(C)? 选项C少一个are→whom you are talking to 而且文意上也很奇怪 你正在跟这个老师讲话的话 他怎麽会又跑到那里的桌子旁边 : 7.Mac-Arthur controls a thousand men,-------must obey his orders in both war : and peace. : (A)all of whom (B)all of who (C)all of which : 答案:(A),空格後有缺受词吗? 为何是选(A)? 一样还原成两句看 (1)Mac-Arthur controls a thousand men. (2)All of them(就是那1000人) must obey his orders in both war and peace. 接下来用关代合并重复的那1000人，因为位置在of後面，所以要用whom 另外这里的合并也可不用关代，那就简单的用and连接两句子就好 反正关系代名词的功能，本来就是连接词与代名词兼具 如果已经用了and来连接，还有用them来代替重复字，就不用用whom : 8.He was a foreigner,--------they perceived from his accent. : (A)that (B)what (C)as (D)whom : 答案:(C),该题不明白为何选(C)!! 要先知道perceive A as B 的用法是把A认为是B 如果以一般的关代用法去思考应该是选whom吧 但是关代融入了as就像前面提过的准关代那样了 原本有背过这个片语用法的人应该满容易猜吧~ : 9.My father has made me-----I am. : (A)who (B)what (C)that : 答案:(B),what前不是不何有名词吗!!(C)为何不行选? what前面不是不能有名词，而是不能有先行词 如果what前面的名词不是属於先行词，就没关系 这题应该从文意上来看比较快~「我父亲使我成为了现在这样的一个人」 「现在这样的一个人」就是what I am当make的受词补语 而make +O +OC 句型中的OC可以是很多型态(形容词、分词、名词、介系词片语等) : 10.I will invite------my daughter loves. : (A)whoever (B)whomever (C)whichever (D)whatever : 答案:(B),空格後有缺受词吗?有为何(A)不行呢? whomever my daughter loves→loves的受词就是whomever啊~ 有B的时候A相对就不是最佳答案 : 11.A man has a right to spend his money-----he pleases. : (A)how (B)in which (C)why (D)for which : 答案:(A),为何(D)不可以选呢? 搭配用法不适合用for吧 这里的please我觉得应该是不及物动词的"喜欢"或"意愿" how he pleases是关系副词子句，how是表示方法的关系副词 原句中文：一个人有权利以他喜欢的方式花钱 : 12.--------might have been expected, he refused our request. : (A)What (B)As (C)That which : 答案:(B),为何(A)不可以选呢? 一样是原本关代的用法融入了as，这里的as译为"就像" 原本可以写成 He refused our request, which might have been expected. which代表前面的整件事情，中文意思就是「他拒绝了我们的请求，这件事是已被预期的」 但是融入as的意思就变成了准关代用法，而中文意思就变成 「他拒绝了我们的请求，就像已被预期的那样」 : 13.He is my son,------a better son does not exist. : (A)but (B)than who (C)against whom (D)than whom : 答案:(D),空格後有缺受词吗?有为何(B)不行呢? : 感谢~ 先还原成两句 (1)He is my son. (2)A better son than my son does not exist. 重复的儿子用whom来代替，因为than此时是介系词所以要用whom而不是who 然後一起往前移，就成为此题要问的关代子句罗 --
