Thanks for your help. From my experience just listening to key works may prove difficult if what you are listening to gets really technical, like a 60-second science program. They tend to use lots of vocabulary and lingo you don't normally hear. It may be easier for foreigners because our science classes may have been taught in English, so we are used to some of the phrases that are used. Scientists also tend to speak faster in a 60 second segment than a normal 30 minute segment. So my tip for you is try practicing some speed reading. Just as someone already suggested, watch CSI and listen to Grissom speak. He tends to speak so fast and adds so much technical stuff, that I sometimes don't know what he is talking about xD. Listening to the radio would be good practice, but instead of listening to the programing, if that radio station has english commercials, pay attention to those, try to figure out what they are trying to sell. Those radio commercials speak pretty fast, you can practice listening that way. Hope this helps, Hektor --
