Recently, I got an opportunity to learn French by teaching a Swiss chinese for exchange. But I have no experience of teaching foreigners. He said that he doen't want to know how to write or read, hence the only thing I need to do is making him be able to talk to others in chinese and understand what people are talking about. But I think there are too many things to teach, I am not sure what should I teach him first. Should I start with sentence or vocabulary? What is the best way to teach forigner chinese? Hoping there are someone who have taught foriegners before can give me some tips and advice. Thanks! --
