So, if : that day is coming on you, which type of funeral do you wish to have? To be honest, I don't like Taiwanese style funeral. The biggest reason is the noisy, long, intricate ceremony before the cremation. I heard the purpose of these is people want to release their feelings as much as possible before their loved one turning into ash, and another reason is spirits need time to find their way to the heaven. It's maybe reasonible , but you can't deny it actually takes a lot of time and sometimes they do fake actions. For example, hiring so mebody to cry in the ceremony to express the filial piety. If you really want to say something to the dead, why not just walk by the coffin and speak out? ok, back to the question you ask. I want a cremation but I don't want my ash put in an urn. I prefer scatter it into the ocean or forest. By the way, if possible it would be better if you give my organs to others who need them. --
