标题[Ask ] Is it impolite?

I want to practice my English talk.So i have a thought and
put into practice first time today. That is find a foreigner on the
street to talk with him. As i went home, i thought if it is impolite
suddenly. Foreigner maybe think i am a strange boy and impolite.
Is it a impolite thing?
