Hi all, I am not sure if this is proper to post this on the board for I can't find any other board that better suited than this. It is poem translation, Chinese to English. I did this translation myself and don't really feel satisfied with my own work. So let's see if any feedback would be thrown after this translaton is on. This is not homework, research or anything the like to obtain your opinion but my personal, humble interest. Weird, right ? A lot of people say so. Ha ha ha. The followings are original poem and my English translation. Hope you like it, and give me some feedback. If it's not proper to do this on the board, I will try to delete it myself after I find how. So here they are. Original Chinese poem: 不问名利不争雄，红颜相守有时终 可叹人生江东流，镜花水月亦虚梦。 English translation: Power and fame Money and name neither I want them Finally till then Love will come to end For life is finite. She's no longer then. Alas I can only sigh My life has gone by. Like water runs wild to the end it destined right. Like water , like name flower wither moon will wane never last for long then By the end we will all waken and see them it's all dream and illusion. PS: Oh, one more thing. The poem is from Pili puppet show which is the reason why I like to translate them because I love them. Ha ha ha. --
