I've got admission from the graudate school in TW already, and now plan to get my PHD. in U.S. after 2 years. (Now I am senior...) THING is that... I have been suffering from poor academic performance within 2 half years... that is, my average is still unvaried between 75~79 no matter what I did. I've paid almost all of my time to study, racked my brains trying all practical methods to correct the way I study, but they help less. Now I really suspect if I do have such an ability, and even qualification to apply TOP20(EE field) universities in america without outstanding grades. I am not a person with clever minds, but once I decide to be involved in one field, I would like myself to make all effort to be expertized A.P.. As for my now study, surely I am interested in the entire revolution of knowledge and theories, and enjoy the progress of chewing over some problems in minds. It may account for the reason why I'm going for PHD.. One words I ever heard from the prof.洪兰 in her once addressing, "Stand up in another way once you fall." It reminds me to re-consider the next step of my future, and hesitate at the same time. Therefore, there are two possible choices in my minds, and hope somebody can point out my neglect or immaturity in thought or suggest another way... Really appreciate! 1.Continue plan of abroad study I am off of the military service, so I'll go abroad as scheduled. Keep working hard to my research and ask for publications or issues if any. 2.Get rid of this idea right away, I had better knowing the fact that I am not suited for this field.
