This subject reminds me a thinig from learning English while I was still at college. "Trying to watch TV without the Chinese captions"~ yeah,indeed I had have done! The funny way I used - sticking stick tape on the bottom of the screen! From the start,I couldn't understand the show at all. I was a mess on my mind! But continually I was getting accustomed to those conversations during the show. The key I think - You have to get used to the speed foreigners speaking. And the most important - you have to remember every pronunciation perfectly. This lets you realize those words immediately because you are so familiar with the pronunciation and even there is no need to "understand"!
