I replied that I want to learn different point of views and diverse thinking domains to look over the research I in which investigate: reading comprehension, reading strategies, and even epistemological beliefs. I noticed that Professor Chen is really good at oral speaking English and her logical expression of questioning and answering is impressive. I can feel that she is really an outstanding scholar in Singapore. After the first class she gave us an assignment. We have three problem scenarios about instruction and learning. What we must do is that we have to find out the key points to the problem scenarios, figure out the device, and show up our reasoning processes and evidence of effectiveness. “It's about critical thinking,” Professor Chen said.
