※ 引述《Nazi (*甜姐儿*)》之铭言:
: this semester i take a course called "research writing."
: the teacher asked us start to find some information related to
: our topics and gave us two weeks to do it.
: i surfed the Internet and found some information. however, after
: two weeks the teacher said the data i found was not enough "academic"
: and asked me to find some scholar article or books.
: again i went to the library but i couldn't find the scholar data,
: i asked for help to one of my friends and he taught me the tip
: to find information. i went home and tried by myself.
: sadly, i still couldn't find any useful information. i was sad and
: i thought i haven't got the tip to do this. am i stupid? why cannot
: i do it as good as others?
You have to know how to search those resesrch articles
in the "Data Bases" online from the library in your school
(The library must be in college or university, or the National Library).
"Data Bases," such as EBSCO, ERIC, and Pro Quest,
are collections online for readers to find or even to download
those professinal academic research articles.
First, you have to be into the homepage of the library in your school.
Second, try to find a link such as "electric data bases" and click in,
and follow the instructions to use the data bases
to search the article you want.
Usually, you have a "key word" to search.
If you want to find an article about "emotion and performance,"
you will key in "emotion and perforemance" as key words to start searching.
(Just like your using of Yahoo or Google searching engine)
In the end of your key word searching,
it comes up with some articles relative to "motion and perfomance."
Some of them are able to be download the whole pages of the article,
but still some are not, and there's only abstract of them.
If it is possible, just find the "PDF" file to download!
The file will show you the original style in the reported journal,
including typesetting and charts.
Any way, if you have any quesion to article searching,
ask the librarians in the library!
They will(or have to) tell you and teach you how to use those data bases.
Good luck!
